Privacy

Photos are taken at sporting events by photographers working for the organiser, then published on the event's page.

On upload, every photo is analysed automatically: visible bib numbers are read, and faces are turned into digital face prints. These prints are stored race by race and only used to search that race.

Each photo keeps the name of the photographer who took it, for credit.

Your selfie is only used if you tick the consent box. It is sent once to be compared with the faces of the race you picked, then forgotten: neither the image nor your face print is stored.

Only search for your own face, or that of someone who agreed to it.

To count visits, your browser keeps a random identifier (no cookie, not linked to who you are). Our server only keeps an irreversibly scrambled version of it, to count each visitor once a day. Daily markers are erased after 45 days.

To prevent abuse, your IP address is also irreversibly scrambled and counted for 10 minutes, then erased.

Organisers only see totals: visits, searches and downloads.

Organisers, photographers and administrators have an account with their email and name, used to sign in and to credit photos.

Data is hosted by Amazon Web Services in Europe (Ireland).

A race's photos and face prints stay online while the race is published on Taswirty. When a race is deleted, its photos, face prints, bibs and statistics are erased.

Under Tunisian Organic Law No. 2004-63 of 27 July 2004 on the protection of personal data, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and object to its processing.

To take down a photo you appear in, or remove your face from search, use the removal request form. For anything else, contact Lens Production through lensproduction.tn.
